Weather in the Region
Since Placer County extends from the Sacramento
Valley floor up into the Sierras, the weather
definitely varies and has a wide range.
However, Lincoln is the place to be if you like
sunny days and mild winters. In the summer, July and
August are the warmest months, with temperatures
averaging around 95 degrees and often topping 100
degrees. Daytime highs in June and September average
89 degrees with nights dropping to an average of 57.
Spring
and Fall daytime averages are in the 80s, perfect
for most outdoor activities. The warm spring weather
brings out beautiful wildflower colors, while the
crisp cool nights of Fall and shorter days result in
a splendid show of Fall Colors!
The coolest month is usually December, with an average high
of 55 degrees, and low of 39 degrees. January, February and
March are the rainiest months, each averaging nearly 4.5 inches
per month.
