About the Chamber In the early 1900s, the Lincoln Area Chamber of
Commerce was established as a non-profit corporation
of voluntary membership that invested time and money
to carry forward programs set forth by its Board of
Directors. The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce
still carries forth that spirit.

Lincoln Chamber
Mission Statement
“To market Lincoln as the area
of choice in which to live and do
business by attracting, assisting, retaining
and promoting members.” |
The City of Lincoln is proud of our strong local
government. The City Council involves the community
in its planning processes, creating synergy between
the city and the community. In conjunction, the
Lincoln Chamber works to better our local community
as it grows and develops.
The Chamber’s pro-active efforts in networking,
business growth and collaboration with the City make
Lincoln one of the fastest growing cities in
California. In 2005, Lincoln was named one of the
top 100 places to live by Money magazine.
Active in local politics, the Chamber has a
representative in attendance at City Council
meetings, and regularly interfaces with Lincoln’s
City and Economic Development managers. In addition,
the Chamber often features speakers who can address
local issues at its monthly breakfast meetings.
All America City Finalist
Lincoln was named as a finalist in 2005 and won the title of All America City in 2006 named by the National Civic League.
Business of The Year
Each year, members of the community and the Chamber
are eligible to nominate businesses for the
Chamber’s Business of the Year awards in four
categories based on the number of people the
business employs. The awards are presented at a
special event each January.
Member Benefits
The Chamber promotes its members in a variety of
ways, including referrals, ribbon-cutting
ceremonies, the Chamber printed and web site Member
Directory, advertising, direct mail, and sponsorship
opportunities, various events throughout the year,
and more.
