Ambassadors
Trish Scholl
I have been a Lincoln Chamber Ambassador for the past year and since January 2004 I have worked with the Scott Yuill State Farm Agency in Rocklin. I have 20 years experience with State Farm and I enjoy meeting potential clients with no obligation to help review Insurance and Financial Services needs. During this meeting we discuss how All the coverage's work together to determine the proper limits of coverage based upon needs and look for duplications or gaps in coverage. Most people who complete this review find the information provided very helpful in making informed decisions regardless of which carrier handles the policies. Please feel free to contact me for your free 30 minute Comprehensive Risk Review and receive a Starbucks Coffee Card as our thank you for your time. I truly enjoy being an Ambassador for the Lincoln Chamber and I look forward to meeting everyone at the Chamber events.
Kimberly Davy
Kimberly Davy, owner of Kimberly Davy Insurance, moved to Lincoln in 2007 when her husband’s inspection project started on the Delta. They moved from Truckee, where she was a Farmers Insurance agent for three years selling personal lines and then decided to open a commercial insurance brokerage. Kimberly Davy Insurance supplies insurance for every type of business entity and offers an opportunity to make an impact for commercial clients in an economy that can be very challenging for the small business owner or the “new in business.”
Kimberly joined the Chamber and became an Ambassador to help others see the benefit the Chamber offers for their business growth. She believes that anyone can be a member and go to the Mixers, but taking on more responsibility allows room for contribution and insight.
Whether Kimberly and her husband are kayaking on the lake or riding their motorcycle thru the Valley, they appreciate the openness of Placer County. Their new house has a view of several wetlands with numerous birds/wildlife.
As well as being a business owner, and a Chamber Ambassador, the Davys’ will host a charity motorcycle event in Lincoln in October to benefit the Firefighters Burn Institute. Kimberly is looking forward to the coming years in the Chamber and in the community.

Lincoln is a wonderful community. I am proud to

business owners about the chamber and the many
benefits they will enjoy from joining and getting
in
volved in the community.
Melanie Bergevin
After growing up on a farm in North Dakota,
graduating in a class of 17, moving to Boston,
traveling the world, getting my pilots license and
running like Forest Gump, I finally slowed down when
I was hit by a car while running on the side of a
road. While I was learning to walk again, it gave me
plenty of time to think about fortunate I was and
how I could help others. As an Edward Jones
Investment Representative, I’m proud to offer life,
health, long-term care insurance and quality
investments to make your dreams come true.
Michael Ferreira
I started with Washington Mutual Bank in October of
1995 in the State of WA while I was finishing my
Bachelor degree. Once I graduated I moved back to CA
(born and raised in the Monterey Bay for 18 yrs) to
the Sacramento region and was promoted to Management
with WaMu in 1997. I have managed the Davis Office,
Roseville Office and most recently opened the new
Lincoln Office of WaMu. After 11+ yrs of service, I
had an opportunity to join Countrywide Homes Loans
in March of 06 as a Team Manager and Sr. Home Loan
Consultant.
We are the nations largest Residential lender and I
specialize in Purchase, Refi and Equity Lending....
I am a proud member of the Lincoln Chamber and live
and work in the Lincoln Community. I have 3 kids and
my wife Heather works for Countrywide also.
Harriet Garland
Born and raised in Salinas, CA. Met future husband,
Chuck, in high school. Married 46 years ago. Spent
two years in Germany when Chuck enlisted in the Army
and we traveled throughout Europe. When finished
with the Army we settled in San Jose, CA to start a
new life and raise our family. Chuck was self
employed for about 25 years and then went to work
for State Farm. He retired from State Farm and then
helped Harriet her AFLAC business on a part time
basis. Harriet is self employed in the insurance
industry and has represented AFLAC for the last 16
years.
We have two children, Lisa, residing in Roseville,
and Leland, residing in Rocklin. We have two
grandchildren, Heather, 16, and Brad, 15. Both Lisa
and Leland are also independent agents representing
AFLAC.
We wanted to retire in a small community and bought
property in the “outskirts” of Lincoln by Camp Far
West Lake about 6 years ago and built a home which
we moved into 2-1/2 years ago. We went from the
“concrete jungle” of the bay area to 10 acres in the
country and absolutely love it. Even though Lincoln
is growing it was still our best decision ever and
we couldn’t find a better place to head into
retirement.
Our hobbies are primarily gardening (Chuck more than
me!!) and cooking. Our favorite past time is having
home cooked get togethers with family and friends.
We love entertaining and try to have different types
of gatherings throughout the year.
Chuck is active in the Lincoln Rotary and we try to
be involved in various projects throughout the city.
Carol Lavender
I love Lincoln and am so happy I choose to live
here. I moved from Ventura, Ca where I had lived for
nearly 20 years. I had several wonderful
opportunities for employment there but it seemed the
cost of living was going up fast. So I looked around
and decided to leave Ventura County. I had been
Executive Director of the Oxnard Convention and
Visitors Bureau for 10 years and enjoyed binging
tourism to Oxnard along with convention business.
Then I had the great opportunity to work with the
city of Fillmore, Ca as their Economic Development
and Tourism Director. Marketing is my love and seems
to be where I fit best in the whole picture of life.
When Cathie Duchene owner and producer of ImageCraft
Studios asked me if I would be interested in working
part time as her marketing and promotions manager I
jumped at the chance. I participate in the filming
of weddings as an interviewer, documentaries and
conferences too. I work the Bridal Shows as a vendor
for ImageCraft Studios and have met so many
interesting people that way.
I am looking forward to serving as an Ambassador for
the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and promoting the
Chamber to businesses that are not yet members.

Roberto Moya
Born and raised in San Jose, California for 23 years of my life. At the age of 24 I was lucky enough to marry my wife Candy. We relocated to the Sacramento Area in 2001 to start our family of 2 daughters and 1 son, Candace, Johnette and Julian.
With our venture in relocation came an exciting career in the Mortgage Industry. I have been a Mortgage Advisor for the past 5 years and love it. Why do I love it?
I am very lucky in that I have one of the best jobs in the world. I get to help people structure their mortgage to create and preserve wealth for themselves and their families. Essentially, I love what I do because I get to help people.
